Remains of a prehistoric wind-shelter in the rock-carving area of Waikoloa, Kona coast, Hawai'i Island, Hawai'i Islands 1985. The prehistoric foot-path, worn down in the lava rock, passes through the area. The rock art tradition at Waikoloa was still practised in the early 19th century. Photo: Göran Burenhult.
